/verification
configurationGate the server behind a verification step.
What it does
Use it to put the server behind a verification step: new members get a restricted role until they click a button, pick from a menu or answer your questions.
The setup option creates the Verified and Unverified roles from a profile. Without confirm it only shows what would change.
Example
/verification toggle enabled: trueVerification is on, but: the roles are not set up (`/verification setup`); no panel has been posted (`/verification panel`).
Example reply in English, when you turn it on before finishing the setup.
Good to know
- You need the Manage Server permission. Replies are only visible to you.
- The setup adjusts @everyone, which is what makes the gate real. Current members will notice the change until they verify.
- The panel option posts the message members click, or updates it in place. After changing the style or the look, run it again to update the posted message.
- There are three styles: a button, a select menu, or questions. With questions, you set up to five, separated by a vertical bar, and a moderator reviews the answers.
- The review option sets where the answers go. With auto approve on, members are let in as soon as they answer and the questions become a record, not a gate.
- The appearance option changes the panel title, text, button label and colour, given as a hex value.
- The minimum age option refuses accounts younger than a number of hours, from 1 to 8760. It is off at 0.
