/gatekeeper
configurationScreen who joins, and spot returning alt accounts.
What it does
Use it to screen who joins. Kirzen scores every new member from 0 to 100, and you choose what happens when the score reaches your threshold.
It also watches for bursts of joins, which it calls raid mode, and for accounts that look like someone who left or was removed.
Example
/gatekeeper check user:throwaway9441throwaway9441 scored 66
Account age: 0h
Reasons: account created less than an hour ago; no avatar; name ends in a long run of digits
Over this server's threshold. Would be: alert
This is inference from a public profile. Discord gives bots no IP or device, so treat it as a prompt to look, not proof.
Example reply in English, for an invented account.
Good to know
- You need the Manage Server permission.
- It starts off. New arrivals are not scored until you turn it on, and the default action only posts an alert.
- The default threshold is 50, and no single signal reaches it on its own.
- The check option scores someone without acting on them, and it does not count as a join.
- Raid mode starts at 8 joins within 20 seconds by default and lasts 10 minutes. The calm option ends it early.
- The minimum-age option refuses accounts younger than a number of hours outright. It is off by default.
